Paulene Cahill

Paulene is a business management professional with specific expertise in corporate management in the Australian Public Service (APS). Over the last 20 years Paulene has gained hands on experience in corporate and business planning, job analysis, business process redesign, team development and design, group facilitation, contract management of IT outsourced services and development of training/educational activities.

During Paulene's career she has worked with various departments in the public sector, large and small in both regional and central office positions. Her most recent APS experience was with the Australian Broadcasting Authority (ABA). Paulene was responsible for management of the IT Outsourcing project, as well as organisation support and financial management. While in the Public Service & Merit Protection Commission (PSMPC), Paulene managed the design and delivery of a range of management training and development to the Australian Public Service on a cost recovery basis, and the external consultancy unit. She also worked as the HR/WR Advisor in the PSMPC and was responsible for the implementation of the first Certified Agreement and Australian Workplace Agreements (AWA's) for that agency.

Paulene holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Management (Public Sector) from the University of Southern Queensland and is accredited in the application of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and the Team Management Index (TMI).
